Welcome
to the
Iowa City Dog Obedience Club

Welcome to ICDOC! We are a group of people who enjoy working with our dogs in a variety of ways. Our members compete in Obedience, Tracking, Agility, Field Trials, Herding/Stock, Flyball and Conformation. We put on an AKC sanctioned Obedience Trial every spring and an AKC sanctioned agility trial every December. We offer basic classes for the public and advanced classes for members. Occasionally we hold other events, such as Canine Good Citizen Test, Obedience and Agility Demonstrations and Therapy Dog Testing.

Club membership carries many benefits: lower class rates, advanced training, weekly workouts, and access to agility equipment. We hold monthly meetings, an annual awards banquet and a summer cookout. We offer seminars and special events on a wide range of topics and members act as stewards at local dog shows.
